Dear Students and Parents,

I am delighted and honored to address you as the new principal of LaVilla School of the Arts. It is with great enthusiasm that I join this esteemed educational institution and become part of its vibrant community. As we embark on this new academic year together, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share thoughts about our journey ahead.

Primarily, I would like to express my deep appreciation for the warm welcome I have received from everyone since my arrival. The kindness, support, and passion for education that I have witnessed in this community have impressed me. It is evident that the students, parents, and faculty are dedicated to nurturing an environment of academic excellence, artistic expression, personal growth, and community engagement.

As your new principal, my goal is to foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where every student can thrive. I passionately believe in the power of education to transform lives and shape the future, and I am committed to ensuring that students receive a quality education, which prepares them for success in an ever-changing world.

Collaboration will be a cornerstone of our journey together. I believe in the strength of teamwork and open communication. I am eager to collaborate to provide quality instruction, implement innovative teaching practices, and create opportunities for our students to develop their unique talents and interests. I recognize the invaluable role parents and guardians play in their child's education, and I encourage you to actively participate in our school community. On Thursday, July 20, 2023, at 6:00 PM the LaVilla PTSA will host a Principal Meet and Greet Session in the theater.

At LaVilla School of the Arts, we value not only the arts and academic achievement but also character development and the nurturing of well-rounded individuals. We will emphasize the importance of respect, empathy, resilience, and responsible citizenship. By fostering a positive and inclusive school climate, we will ensure that students feel valued, supported, and empowered to reach their full potential.

Throughout the year, I will be reaching out to all stakeholders to gather feedback and input to shape our collective vision for the future. Together, we will build upon the solid foundation already in place and strive for continuous improvement in all areas.

I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to serve as your principal and look forward to getting to know each of you.
