Current Data

    Comments:

    • This boundary has grown over the years in order to justify putting an addition on the building. This has led to under-enrollment at the adjacent schools.
    • This area has been heavily impacted by charters.

    Current Feeder Schools:

    • Middle: Twin Lakes, Southside, DuPont, Mandarin, Kernan.
    • Elementary: Bartram Springs, Greenland Pines, Mandarin Oaks, Twin Lakes Academy, Chets Creek, Windy Hill, Kernan Trail, Alimacani.

  • Scenario: Status Quo-Position for possible future growth

    • Move Beauclerc into the Englewood High School boundary making duPont a 100% feeder and eliminating the need for an Atlantic Coast addition.
    • The Tamaya community moves back into the Sandalwood boundary.
    • The boundary for Atlantic Coast High School is pretty much what is was when it was opened.
    • Future consideration: additional elementary school east of Atlantic Coast High School if needed.
