State Testing Requirement: Attendance at all required standardized testing assignments is required by DVIA, Duval County and the State of Florida. Failure to comply may result in your student not being allowed to return to DVIA.

The State of Florida Department of Education and State Statutes mandate testing by all virtual school students. Our DVIA Full-Time students are affected directly by this policy. The "Acknowledgment and Agreement" that you sign includes the statement, “All students participating in full-time virtual instruction programs must acknowledge and agree to participate in all State-mandated assessments offered at assigned district locations in order to remain in the virtual program”. Failure to comply with this state mandate will result in your student(s) being returned to their attendance area school for enrollment for the following school year.

When completing your initial registration forms, the parent and student must acknowledge they read, understand and agree to the terms of this section.
