    Comments:

    • 6 elementary schools is too many for 2,400 students within the boundary.
    • Neptune Beach, Seabreeze, Mayport MS, and Fletcher all pull students from West of the intercoastal. This used to help reduce over-utilization in the Sandalwood feeder schools, but that is no longer necessary.”

    Current Feeder Schools:

    • Middle: Fletcher, Mayport.
    • Elementary: Anchor Academy, Mayport, Atlantic Beach, Neptune Beach, San Pablo, Seabreeze.

  • Scenario: Mayport K-8/Fletcher MS

    • Close Anchor Academy, Atlantic Beach, Mayport Elementary, and San Pablo.
    • Convert Mayport Middle School into a K-8 that feeds into Fletcher High School.
    • Build a new elementary school at the San Pablo site instead of Seabreeze.
    • Neptune Beach and San Pablo will feed into Fletcher Middle School, which will feed into Fletcher High School.
