Seven churches joined together under the name #OneBodyJax to celebrate National Serve Day on July 13, 2019 by serving their neighbors at Sulzbacher’s Urban Rest Stop in downtown Jacksonville and Sulzbacher Village in north Jacksonville. The churches serving included Church of Eleven22, Celebration, Impact Church, Redeemer, Elevate Life, The Well and Rise Church. National Serve Day provides churches across the world with opportunities to serve their local communities and share the love of God through practical acts of kindness.
Joseph Stilwell Military Academy of Leadership was adopted by Rise Church and was treated to a campus make-over. From scrubbing walls, cleaning up courtyards, spreading mulch and bagging dead vegatation, members pitched in all over campus to help ready the campus for the start of school.
