  • Uniform Policy

    All students must have a visible school ID card
    while on school grounds, transportation, and
    school sponsored events.

    Unacceptable Bottoms = NOT ALLOWED - NO
    JEANS ALLOWED, SLACKS ONLY

    • jeans - or any color other than black,
      navy or khaki
    • ripped pants/jeans
    • basketball shorts
    • sweatpants
    • joggers
    • camouflage pants
    • leggings/jeggings
    • biker shorts
    • tights
    • athletic shorts
    • yoga pants
    • bottoms that are NOT black, navy or khaki

    Unacceptable Tops = NOT ALLOWED

    • polos or collared shirts with designs
    • tops that do not have a collar
    • tops that are NOT black, hunter green, navy, grey or white

    Acceptable Outerwear - MUST BE BLACK OR GREY, No Hoods. No Writing

    • sweatshirts - button or zip up 
    • sweater - button or zip up


    Acceptable Shoes - NO CROCS OR SLIDES

    • Any closed toed fully backed shoes

    NonUniform Consequences

    Students in violation will be sent to the House Office. The House Office will track violation of the KMS uniform policy.


    Violation 1- 3 → Parent Contact/ Students out of Uniform will be placed in ISSP until a parent or guardian can bring the student a change of clothes.


    Violation 4 -6 → Referral/ Parent Contact/ School Counselor Referral/ Students out of Uniform will be placed in ISSP until a parent or guardian can bring the student a
    change of clothes.


    Violation 7+ → Referral/Parent Conference/ 2- 7 days ISSP
