    Jean Ribault Middle School is part of the Magnet Schools Assistance Program (MSAP) grant and was awarded $1.4 million to implement the Early High School magnet program.  The grant has purchased technology, books, supplies and manipulative for teachers and students to use for interactive lessons as well as professional development training for teachers.
     
     
     
    The Early High School program at Jean Ribault Middle School prepares students for high school success while still in middle school. Offering an opportunity to build academic and leadership skills and enroll in high school level courses provides students a head start for future academic achievement.
     
     
     
    The early high school program at Ribault Middle School employs a proven methodology that increases the chances for higher education among motivated students.  The program provides an opportunity for students to excel in their coursework while offering considerable academic and social support to ensure success.  The Advanced Placement AVID college-readiness system is incorporated into all classes.   Students can earn up to four high school credits in Geometry, Algebra 1, Physical Science, and Chinese 1.
