Out-of-School Time (OST) Programs: Data-Driven Support for Students
Our OST Community Partners provide regularly scheduled, structured and supervised enrichment and academic services to our students. Students have the opportunity to participate in before & afterschool programs, expanded learning opportunities and summer camps.
The Research, Evaluation and Data Department provides secured student data sharing platforms with community partners for targeting support services, identifying needs and monitoring progress. In addition to secured data sharing, we assist OST programs with measuring program outcomes, identifying school needs and offering training opportunities. CTE Workforce Development
There are a wide range of opportunities for businesses to give their time, talent, energy and resources. Our business partners provide mentorship, internships, student and employee recognition programs, professional development, workshops, events, career speakers, product donations, funding for building projects, and volunteer opportunities. Educational Research & Grants
Duval County Public Schools support educational research that is relevant to student academic success. Our rigorous application process ensures student data is securely accessed, appropriate background clearance is obtained and the research is valid. We offer predoctoral and postdoctoral educational research opportunities to support the next generation of instructional leaders.
